Award Description
For over two decades, LINK-UP has been at the service of children in need in the most practical ways through Protection, Child Sponsorship and Guardian Care Services. What has kept the cause going are the silent actions from the heart of people who believe and support the cause but go unnoticed, unrecognized or appreciated in a memorable manner.
In this maiden edition, we publicly thank and celebrate kindness done to children in need. Each year, we hope to celebrate and recognize our supporters, team of volunteers from the board to staff, Child Sponsors, Guardians and those who assist indirectly in promoting this cause, the children who succeed and give us a reason to be grateful to God for using us to do his work in taking care of children in need.
In this maiden edition, we begin by pre-launching the event with a Child Sponsor (Carl Steen Schools – Limbe and a LINK-UP Community Group Leader. Other lauriets who are long standing volunteer and supporters of the organization will have a spotlight shined a on them, during the event proper on a date to be announced in 2023.
We will also use this event to launch our website which has been in the works for several years.
