This opportunity is directed to the neediest children in need of education and protection. It is not a 100% guarantee of immediate sponsorship or assistance. It could take weeks, months or even years for a child to have a sponsor or based on the available resources.
Sponsorship is renewable yearly and based on the child’s school records, performance and morals. Thus a child with bad behavior and bad school records will be suspended or withdrawn from the system.
Orphans and vulnerable children, who have lost connection with their families as a result of the ongoing, those with disabilities or with disabled parents or guardians are highly eligible
Requirements
- Fill the application form
- Provide the most recent school record for those in or wishing to return to school or learn a trade.
- Provide a recent full picture of the child in his or her natural state.
- If available, a copy of the birth certificate of the child and the ID card of the host (the person living with the child)
- This child sponsorship program, is preferably carried out through groups of persons living with children in need. So you can either join an existing group or assist in setting up of one in your locality.
- Sign an Informed Consent Form to permit the child’s information to be displayed on our platform for sponsorship.
