HIS STORY
The parents of Stephen a four years old child are internally displaced persons who ran from their place of comfort for safety from the ongoing armed conflict in the English speaking regions of Cameroonn thereby losing all their sources of income and livelihood.
They presently live five in number in a small temporary structure with his father’s current source of income solely from a partially functional tea estate where he works which earns him an income between 5,000 and 10,000frs per month. the Tea estate has dried up and this makes harvesting to be very small and hence are paid low wages.
In his own words “I am still in the estate because of the free accommodation which makes us not to pay rents. life is very hard but I will wish my child to be educated”.
